Free Creator Use

MOV Music may be used free of charge in original audiovisual content published on platforms including YouTube, YouTube Shorts, Twitch, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and similar creator platforms.

Monetization is allowed, including platform advertising, sponsorships, memberships, donations and affiliate revenue.

Normal client work and organic business or social-media content are also permitted.

Attribution

Credit to MOV Music is required wherever reasonably possible.

Editing

Re-uploads and Redistribution

Standalone music re-uploads, visualizers, lyric videos, compilations, extended versions, one-hour versions, music-only loops, slowed/reverb uploads, download mirrors and stock-music redistribution are not permitted.

Using MOV as soundtrack or background music inside substantial original audiovisual content remains allowed under the Creator License.

Third-party Music Distribution

Third parties may not distribute MOV tracks through Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, Deezer, Tidal, other streaming services, music distributors or stock-music services.

Users may not claim ownership or authorship, sublicense MOV Music, or sell it as their own music.

Content ID and Automated Rights Management

Users may not register MOV Music, altered MOV Music, or works containing MOV Music in a manner that claims the underlying MOV track through YouTube Content ID, Meta Rights Manager, TikTok rights-management systems or similar automated rights-management databases.

MOV Creator Library tracks are intended for authorized creator use and should not intentionally be enrolled by MOV in systems that would automatically claim compliant creator videos.

Commercial Creator Use

Free creator use includes monetized YouTube content, monetized short-form content, sponsored creator videos, affiliate content, Twitch monetization, ordinary freelance or client videos, and organic company social-media content.

Separate permission or licensing is required for:

• Standalone paid advertising campaigns
• Television broadcasts and cinema advertising
• Commercially distributed feature films
• Major streaming-service productions
• Video games and apps/software
• Large-scale commercial synchronization

License Changes

A use validly published under an earlier version remains governed by the license version that applied when it was published.

Future versions will have a version number and effective date. Archived versions will remain available at permanent URLs.
